What does the Church Council do?

The Church Council (PCC) works with the Vicar in promoting within the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

Pastoral - Caring for individuals

Evangelistic - Telling people the Good News of Jesus Christ and inviting them to accept it

Social - Helping the poorer members of society

Ecumenical - Encouraging good relationships with other Christian denominations
