LIFE

Jesus said that he came to give people abundant Life (John 10:10).

Living things grow! We want to grow more and more into the people we’ve been created to be. We believe that we are each created for relationship: with God and with people. We love Jesus, getting to know God better, and drawing close to Him through the Bible and the Holy Spirit, sung worship, prayer and church community.

On a Sunday we gather and worship God together, but ultimately we want to worship Him with the lives that we live every day. Jesus said that the way we treat other people is the way that we treat Him (Matthew 25:31-46).

We also gather together in Life Groups (small groups of about 8-12 people) on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings to explore the Bible, pray, chat and enjoy time with each other, sharing refreshments. For more details, please contact the church office. It would be fantastic to see you!

We love the Bible and believe it is the handbook for life and the lens through which we interpret the world.

Jesus said: ‘The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second [commandment] is equally important: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

God's plan and purpose for us is to become more and more like Jesus (Romans 8:29).

As we follow Jesus and experience transformation, the Holy Spirit gives us Jesus-like character and particular gifts for us to help and serve other people.

We want to help and encourage each other to be filled with and transformed by the Holy Spirit, so that like Jesus, we might serve and reach out to others in love.

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 

(Galatians 2:20).
